Language Computer Corporation (LCC), founded in 1995 in Dallas, Texas, develops technology in the areas of question-answering, information extraction and text summarization. LCC's PowerAnswer Technology transforms the standard search from a merely finding tool into an answer provider, all in the context of a natural, simple and straightforward process. LCC's CICERO Information Extraction (IE) technology complements LCC's PowerAnswer approach. While PowerAnswer provides an open-domain solution for direct, relevant answers from heterogeneous document collections, IE is ideally suited for customers interested in retrieving highly-relevant information for domain-specific topics. Also LCC's GisTexter summarization technology produces abstracts for virtually any topic.
